It's time to show our support for the Kelowna Rockets as they pursue history. This Friday night, the team will attempt to tie the franchise record with 24 straight wins at home. They will attempt this monumental feat against the top ranked team in the nation, the Portland Winterhawks.

And now the fans are calling for a WHITE OUT for the first time in 10 years. The same fans who organized the "Wear White" campaign in 2003 during the Rockets push to the Memorial Cup that season are rallying the cry for "White" again. Fans are asked to come to the game all decked out in white to show their support for the boys as they look to enter the Kelowna name into the record books.

With the biggest home games of the season approaching for the Kelowna Rockets, there are still plenty of tickets to be had for a weekend double-header in Kelowna, featuring two of the best teams in the Canadian Hockey League.

As of Wednesday, close to 1,000 tickets remained available for both Friday and Saturday night's games between the Rockets (40-10-3-1) and the Portland Winterhawks (43-7-1-2).

Portland enters the weekend ranked first in the CHL and with the best record in the WHL, while the Rockets are ranked fourth in the CHL and are second overall in the WHL.

Spread the word amongst your friends and family about the WHITE OUT and that that there are still tickets available for what should be some of the best hockey at Prospera Place since the Rockets went all the way to the Memorial Cup in 2009.

Tickets are available through, the Prospera Place box office or by phone at 250-762-5050.
