Whether you live here, or are planning a visit to the Okanagan, the Cove Lakeside is a must see/must stay kind of resort.

Nestled on the shores of Lake Okanagan, the Cove is located in West Kelowna, just off Hwy. 97. Known as a four seasons playground, the Okanagan is the perfect place for a mini-staycation or a full blown vacation.

In the winter, Telemark cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are available 15 minutes from the affordable resort with Crystal Mountain Ski Resort 20 minutes away. There are several other ski hills in the area including Apex, Big White and Silver Star.

Dozens of wineries are within minutes of the Cove and most are open for tastings and tours year round.

For the other three seasons there is fishing, nature walks, hiking, biking and golf on several premier courses nearby.

Come the summer there is no better place to stay than the Cove Lakeside Resort. Swim in the heated pool, laze around in the hot tub, zip down the waterslide, or take just a few extra steps and you are on the beach. There is a dog park nearby where even the pups can go for a swim. The Gellatly Nut Farm is located right beside the resort, for a lazy afternoon of strolling through the trees.

The Cove also has its own marina conveniently located minutes from fueling up facilities and approximately 15 minutes from downtown Kelowna. You can come over by boat, or bring your boat and dock it here. The Cove Marina has 50 slips within the basin and five mooring buoys. Just coming over for a meal at the Bonfire or a treat at the Spa? Kids, pets, friends and family can all enjoy the Cove Lakeside. Each of their luxurious suites has been carefully thought out to capture the spirit of casual living and entertaining. Choose from one, two or three bedroom deluxe or premium suites. Each suite features a gourmet kitchen complete with a wine fridge. The living room has a large dining area and an entertainment centre complemented by a 42′ plasma television above the fireplace. Doors open onto expansive balconies, which provide beautiful views of Okanagan Lake and the surrounding mountainside. There's an in-suite washer and dryer for your convenience.

Should you not feel like cooking, there's always the Bonfire Grill. Chef Grant de Montreuil has created a simple but elegant menu for kids and adults alike.

Try the hearth bread platters or the fish tacos for a lighter snack. At some point during your stay be sure to try his famous Beefeater gin and tomato soup, a local favourite.
